NYT sues OpenAI, MS for infringing copyrighted work Reuters / Dec 28, 2023, 06:42 (IST) The New York Times has sued OpenAI and Microsoft, accusing them of using its articles without permission to train AI technologies. OpenAI and Microsoft are also facing lawsuits from novelists David Baldacci, Jonathan Franzen, John Grisham, and Scott Turow, who claim that their books may have been co-opted by AI systems.
